Forsyth County Parks and Recreation provides a wide variety of youth recreation opportunities, yet not all families are able to afford the participation fees. Forsyth County Parks Foundation and Forsyth County Parks and Recreation have designed a youth scholarship program to provide funding for these families.
- Thanks to our Commemorative Bench and Emergency 911 Mile Markers over 82% of the Big Creek Greenway has sponsored markers for improved safety and convenience
- The 2024 Tour de Forsyth helped raise additional funds to increase our donation to FCPRD
- The 2023 Tour de Forsyth surpassed its goal for runners raising thousands of dollars for underserved children to attend FC Parks & Recreation Programs!
- Our Fly High For Parks Event raised about $9,000 for camp scholarships!
