The Mobile Planetarium has arrived!
Thanks to the efforts of the Campbell Group, the Forsyth County Community Foundation* and supporters of our FC Parks Foundation we have raised the funds to donate a mobile planetarium to Sawnee Mountain Preserve and Forsyth County Parks & Recreation. The solar system display (and so much more) will be used by students on field trips, camp programs, birthday parties and more.
Watch for the launch of the planetarium soon as staff work on the programming and scheduling.
